Top 100 Educational Tools
All the lin ks above are different types of Web 2.0 Tools that have been proven and used in education. Most of the sites will have a tutorial to check out but if there isn't one that you can find please feel free to ask your friendly neighborhood librarian (Ms. Hallett) as I am familiar with many of these tools. A great resource to see how is Jane Hart's C4LPT website. That stands for The Center for Learning and Performance Technologies. Every year she puts out a list of the Top 100 Educational Tools available on the web. If you visit her site you will find a list of these tools and many of them have comments about how they were used by fellow educators. This is a really great resource to check out and will provide many different types of tools for you to explore. Ideally everyone will pick 3 different tools to explore and then come together with the group to talk about why these tools are great and how they can be used in the classroom. Please submit you're brief summaries on these tools below so that others can view them as well.
